Follow-up Comment #15, bug #44916 (project octave):

When I say it worked previously with 3.8.2, I mean that it worked on the same
hardware and system with 3.8.2 where we see the failure with the current
release candidate.  I'm attaching the changes I made to generate the modified
liboctinterp-3.dll file that I posted.  These changes reverse nearly all of
the changes to gl2ps-renderer.{h,cc} that have been made since 3.8.2.
