Follow-up Comment #7, bug #44830 (project octave):
I have attached a preliminary patch that fixes both bug #44857 and partially
this bug. I still have to add a changelog and tests though. Can someone test
it and give me feeback?
The computed values for boundary pixels are still not quite the same as in
Matlab: it looks like Matlab performs extrapolation for boundary pixels.
