Follow-up Comment #4, bug #44459 (project octave):

I am using Windows 7 32 bits.

A simple plot(1:10) will cause Octave to hang and then crash.  Octave runs at
50% CPU during the hang.

I have tried all of the plotting engines: qt, fltk, and gnuplot.
