Follow-up Comment #3, bug #46570 (project octave):
I also think that using "imfilter(...,'replicate')" instead of the old "conv2"
should help to make those edge methods (Robert, Sobel, Prewitt) more Matlab
compatible, and also make the results really better. The current
implementation over emphasises the image borders otherwise.
