Follow-up Comment #1:

Confirmed for classdef classes. Old @-style classes do show the size of the
class in bytes correctly.

Classdef support is an ongoing work in progress. Please consider consulting
the wiki page for limitations of classdef, and add this item to the page if
not already there:
