URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?46769> Summary: Psi (digamma/polygamma) function not in core Octave Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: nir_krakauer Submitted on: Mon 28 Dec 2015 02:21:13 PM GMT Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: Matlab has an implementation in core [1]. Octave currently has psi and psi_n in the unmaintained gsl package [2, 3]. There is also third-party code that could be used as a basis for implementation if we don't want core Octave to depend on GSL, e.g. [4] (LGPL).
