Follow-up Comment #1, bug #47329 (project octave):
I just ran the following on Matlab R2012a and Octave 4.0.0:
[x,y,z] = meshgrid (-2:0.5:2, -2:0.5:2, -2:0.5:2);
val = x.^2 + y.^2 + z.^2;
fv = isosurface (x, y, z, val, 1);
figure;
patch ('Face', fv.faces, 'Vertices', fv.vertices)
They both fail.
This line works on both:
patch ('Faces', fv.faces, 'Vertices', fv.vertices)
Unless something has changed in recent versions of Matlab, the Mathworks
documentation seems to be erroneous.
Another indication for this is that the examples further down on the same page
use 'Faces' (not 'Face').
