Follow-up Comment #4:

Can you please try the attached patch? The configure tests have actually
already been in place for quite a while, but Fadeeva uses its own faulty
logic. Let me know if this patch allows you to compile with gcc 4.6 (you
shouldn't have to run configure again, just patch and make if you have an
already partially-built tree).
