Hi Phillip,
The example in xmlread is simple and works for me on linux:
close all
graphics_toolkit ("fltk");
hf = figure ();
sombrero ();
print toto.svg
Are you also able to run this example on windows? If not then it may be a
windows specific behavior regarding the changes that have been brought to the
printing system on default.
