Follow-up Comment #3, bug #47346 (project octave): I should have mentioned that -f and any other change to initialization that I could think of does no good. Sorry. I recently updated to the latest fc23, which included: glibc.x86_64 2.22-11.fc23 kernel-4.4.3-300.fc23.x86_64 Does it help that run-octave works?
