Follow-up Comment #4, bug #47359 (project octave):
I'll try to test it at the end of the weekend.
The official docs are quite unspecific about wildcards. I don't know what they
mean by saying "To specify all names beginning with certain characters, add
the wildcard character, *." However the "internal docs" are more specific and
say something like "(...) fileattrib mydir* recursively displays the
attributes of 'mydir' and its contents (...)".
