Follow-up Comment #14, bug #47250 (project octave):
Maybe related, but at the moment during cross-building packages I get loads of
configure errors along the lines of:
:
x86_64-w64-mingw32-g++: error: @OCT_LINK_OPTS@: No such file or directory
x86_64-w64-mingw32-g++: error: @OCT_LINK_DEPS@: No such file or directory
configure: error: Could not run
/home/philip/devel/octdev/mxe/mxe_w64_20160224/usr/bin/x86_64-w64-mingw32-mkoctfile
--verbose
with several packages.
In addition, mkoctfile doesn't work anymore (once in Windows), it gives
e.g.,:
>> mkoctfile csv2cell.cc
mkoctfile: no way to compile C++ file csv2cell.cc
warning: mkoctfile: building exited with failure status
warning: called from
mkoctfile at line 171 column 5
I suppose that Octave's build system is in such a transient state that we'd
better wait until the dust is settled before attempting to again build OF
packages.
What do you think?
The last MXE build that worked for me w/o problems was based on Octave from
Feb 19, but with an MXE updated to only maybe end of January.
