Follow-up Comment #17, bug #47337 (project octave):

Sure, crossed my mind as well, but I still wonder why:
- stable Octave (incl. rc4; built with the same mxe-octave) is not affected
- it only occurs in Windows
- it only shows up in fltk.

I'll start re-making more ancient Octave versions with mxe, starting with e.g.
a year ago; there's no hurry to sort this out quickly as qt works fine. Given
that stable Octave is OK I hope I am not too naive to surmise that some past
version of dev Octave might not be affected.
