Follow-up Comment #17, bug #47415 (project octave):
It seems like maybe we are worrying overly much about corner cases. What
about implementing things in Octave in a space efficient manner, and if people
absolutely need Matlab compatibility then have them use
disable_permutation_matrix (true)
