Follow-up Comment #34, bug #47372 (project octave):
Do you mean that static variables in the shared library that is loaded are
causing trouble, or is it the static nil_rep variable that you think is
causing the trouble?
If you run the test that causes a crash under gdb, do you get any useful info
about where the crash is actually happening?
