Follow-up Comment #7, bug #47536 (project octave):

I haven't built mxe-octave in a long time, but I think it caches the source
packages it has downloaded. When you build with --enable-octave=default, it
downloads source tarballs from the hydra autobuilder. If you have a
pkg/octave-4.1.0+.tar.gz, you should probably delete it and try building
again.
