Follow-up Comment #49, bug #47372 (project octave):
Rik, can you try adding -lgomp to the link command for Octave as described in
the stackoverflow thread? It probably needs to be added to the octave-gui
link command, or possibly libinterp would work? It may also require the use
of the -fopenmp compiler option.
