Follow-up Comment #68, bug #47372 (project octave):
According to things I read on the web, if we ever start implementing the
visibility attribute for compilation on the Linux side then we should be able
to detect these problems on Linux. That might be a help since the full
compile cycle through MXE-Octave is quite long just to test a hypothesis.
