Follow-up Comment #9, bug #43036 (project octave):
I have quick looked at the gnulib. The gnulib does not have popen2. Therefore
we have to improve the codes in lo-sysdep.cc. Unfortunately, the original
author has not appear in more than two years in the octave community.
