Follow-up Comment #81, bug #47372 (project octave): @Harmut (comment#79) I have compiled Octave again from changeset d5963a6e29c2 <http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/d5963a6e29c2> but got the same results (test imread; clear all; test imread; segfaults) I did not use the tar.gz from hydra, and I did not build Octave from scratch, so there might be a difference.
