I checked with Octave 4.0.1 on Windows 7:
>> which @ftp/dir
'@ftp/dir' is the file C:OctaveOctave-4.0.1shareoctave4.0

>> dbstop @ftp/dir
error: add_breakpoint: unable to find the requested function
>> dbstop @ftpdir
ans = 27
"which" does not seem to have a problem with "/" on Windows.
