Follow-up Comment #3, bug #47693 (project octave):
I'm really busy right now so I won't be able to get to it. If you need a fix
in a hurry you can always pay a developer (See
http://www.gnu.org/software/octave/commercial-support.html). Otherwise, you
can just wait for someone else to take an interest, or start wading into the
code to try and find the problem.
Unfortunately, this bug doesn't affect many people since it is the debug
interface, and then only when private functions are involved. This does make
it less likely that someone else will take an interest.
