Follow-up Comment #6, bug #44458 (project octave):
Has anyone solved this problem on a mac? I still get a black rectangle!
I'm using gnuplot 5.0.3 with aquaterm and octave 4.0.0.
Interestingly print does work for 3d plots (plot3()) but not for plot().
Similarly with saveas.
