Details:
I guess there is a roundup error in OpenGL plotting engine.
The following code generates ugly plots.
xt = 700000:0.1:700001
yt = 8000000:0.1:8000001
plot(xt,yt,'.-'); %% jagged line, tics are not equally spaced
xt = 700000:0.1:700001
yt=2:0.1:3
plot(xt,yt,'.-') %% jagged line
datetick('x',15) %% datetick generates long tick marks
This happens for both QT and fltk in windows 7.
