Follow-up Comment #28, bug #41148 (project octave): >As for the other issue, it seems that the good news that 'pipe()' (m-code) is now working in Octave at MINGW is not enough -- we also need 'fork()' (m-code) to work ... This applies regardless of whether 'parallel' is configured with or without --disable-cluster. Native windows C compiler does not have fork(). However, fork () exist in octave. We have to know how the octave implement of fork() on native windows.
