Follow-up Comment #1, bug #47965 (project octave): The tolerances were not chosen for any reason other than being the minimum I needed on my system when I coded them. I prefer to keep those things tight. That was specially true on psi where changing the order of some loops was enough to introduce errors. So, yeah.
