Follow-up Comment #2, bug #48013 (project octave):

I'm pretty sure Matlab also added that note recently.  So, is Octave already
Matlab Compatible?

There are a few BIST tests checking conversion at the end of ov-java.cc.  This
should probably be expanded and put into an entire Java test suite in the
test/ directory?
