Follow-up Comment #32, bug #47800 (project octave):
Well done on fixing bug #40362 as well.
I'm still concerned about the loss of performance relative to the current
C++/Fortran implementation. Do you think it won't be an issue, or is it worth
working out which cases the built-in version can handle and calling it where
possible?
