Follow-up Comment #2, bug #48172 (project octave): I meant octave.dvi, sorry. But either way, it gives identical errors for both. In the Makefile I have TEXINPUTS := $(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(abs_top_srcdir)/doc/interpreter$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(abs_top_builddir)/doc/interpreter$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(abs_top_builddir)/doc/.texmf-var//$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(TEXINPUTS)$(PATH_SEPARATOR) TEXMFCNF := $(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(abs_top_srcdir)/doc$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(abs_top_builddir)/doc$(PATH_SEPARATOR)$(TEXMFCNF)$(PATH_SEPARATOR) /usr/local/src/octave/build/doc/interpreter/preface.texi exists. makeinfo (GNU texinfo) 4.13 _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?48172> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
