Follow-up Comment #1:
Thanks for reporting this bug. Octave's command window for Windows is based on
the Windows console, and probably has limitations due to that basis. Patches
are welcome that would fix the existing implementation. There is also some
interest in redoing the command window to be a platform independent Qt widget
and be and more flexible and configurable.
