Thanks for the report Vic. As I urged you to report this bug, I'm retitling it
to be about what I see as the primary issue, the yellow shading region showing
up in the output of your image from the qt toolkit.

Can you print the same figure to eps and svg using the qt toolkit and attach
those files as well?
