Follow-up Comment #8, bug #48690 (project octave):
Realized my other patches didn't preserve single/double type for the NAN. Will
upload modified patches for this after confirming MATLAB behavior. Also, mode
has multiple outputs. Need to test what those other outputs should be in
MATLAB. If it's simple will have that up as well.
