Update of bug #44916 (project octave):
Severity: 5 - Blocker => 3 - Normal
Priority: 7 - High => 5 - Normal
Item Group: Regression => Performance
Release: 4.0.0 => dev
Summary: Printing Qt-drawn figures produces faulty files =>
--softwareopengl option for performance

Follow-up Comment #78:
I have reduced the severity of this bug to 3--It is no longer a blocker for
the 4.2 release. The outstanding issue is that all OpenGL Qt rendering has
been switched over to use software rather than hardware. The switchover
should be configurable so that users with HW that works can get the
performance benefit of it. At least in Matlab, HW rendering is used by
default unless the --softwareopengl command line switch is used.
