Follow-up Comment #15:
I verified that I can compile with Qt4 or Qt5, and that liboctgui.so is
correctly linked to the appropriate libraries. I checked in a changeset to
silence a compiler warning about an unused parameter if HAVE_QSCINTILLA is
false (http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/daa81db564ac).
