Follow-up Comment #8, bug #48761 (project octave):
I have get core i5 PC, installed lubuntu 16.04 amd 64 and build octave-dev
with qt5.
The version of qt5 on lubuntu 16.04 is 5.5.1.
Screenshot of octave-gui is attached.
It seems that this is OK.
I will try to build newer qt on ubuntu 14.04 and test.
