Follow-up Comment #9, bug #49130 (project octave):

@Dan: Your last cset was almost perfect, the question of clamping was all that
remained.  Now that the linestyle patch has been checked in this is all that
really remains for gnuplot before the 4.2 release.  The smaller bits, like the
background color of the axes object can be done in the 4.2.1 bug fix release.
