Follow-up Comment #10:

I prefaced the 10 tests that depend at runtime on a working window environment
with 


%! if (! have_window_system)
%!  return;
%! endif


I'm not going to tackle the larger question of how to get these tests reported
as XFAILs.  That question needs to be answered for the Java tests as well, and
it makes sense to address both cases at the same time.
