Follow-up Comment #8, bug #48807 (project octave):
How are we dealing with this for the next release? I can push a commit that
removes this code on the default branch and then revert it once 4.2 has been
released. Or if the default branch is merged into stable for the release
candidates, this could be undone only on the stable branch.
