Follow-up Comment #18, bug #49214 (project octave):
Hm? I thought comment #10 explicitly says that calling fopen (with options set
to overwrite the file) on an existing file with the hidden attribute set does
*not* work.
Can we get some more testing? It seems to me that it is a general OS / system
library problem than a bug specific to readline, if I'm reading this right.
