Follow-up Comment #10, bug #49571 (project octave):

You can add people to the CC list for the bug and they will get subsequent
posts.  I usually add people to the CC list as well as adding a comment asking
for review so they get both things at once.  Ben Abbott (bpabbott) has been a
long time Mac user on Octave.  There are others I'm sure.
