Follow-up Comment #3, bug #49609 (project octave):

I can reproduce this under Ubuntu 14.04.

When I type "while 1 ; end" in the Octave-GUI terminal, and then stop this
silly loop with Ctrl-C, then Octave crashes AND the whole Ubuntu Unity session
fully crashes. Wow!

My Octave 4.2.0 is self built (only one single configure option
"--disable-docs" to work around the bug with osmesa under Ubuntu 14.04), and I
still use qt4.
