Follow-up Comment #1:
I'm closing this old bug report about the pkg function because it points to a
mailing list archive with a broken link (that I have been able to find pretty
easily, see thread starting at
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-octave/2011-08/msg00022.html), which
contains a few notes about the pkg function that I cannot tell on the surface
whether they are still valid or not in the latest release.
Some of the notes about pkg may still be valid. Bug reports about specific
problems with pkg are of course welcome.
