Update of bug #38542 (project octave):
Item Group: None => Incorrect Result
Release: 3.6.3 => dev
Summary: Cannot zoom subplots with GnuPlot => pan, rotate, or
zoom with mouse erases other subplots with gnuplot

Follow-up Comment #2:
Confirmed bug is still present with the development version of Octave and
gnuplot 5. Does anyone interested in gnuplot care to work on this, or is it
not possible or should be closed as a won't fix?
This applies to either panning, rotating, or zooming with the mouse.
