Details:
Here is the code:
figure
[X,Y] = meshgrid(-3:.125:3);
Z = peaks(X,Y);
meshc(X,Y,Z)
axis('equal')
The function meshc will correctly draw the contour lines but the execution of
axis('equal') will delete the contour lines from the figure. We don't see this
behaviour in Matlab.
