Details:
matlab has 2 and 3d versions of the integral function. a limited
implementation of integral was recently implemented as a wrapper to quadgk and
quadv in Bug #42037. Suspect a similar strategy might work for integral2.
opening a 'wishlist' missing function bug as a placeholder for any work on
these functions.
