Details:

After installing octave 4.2.1 wiht homebrew, the --force-gui switch has no
effect; the CLI version is started without the GUI.

Perhaps this is because of the "this formula has no --with-gui option so it
will be ignored!" error while installing:


#brew reinstall octave --with-gui
==> Reinstalling octave
