Follow-up Comment #9, bug #52229 (project octave):

I pushed a change yesterday that uses the full sundials package tarball and
installs ida from it.

I did not use the 3.0.0 as it is missing ida_sparse.h, that was required in
octave

let me know if it doesnt work
