Follow-up Comment #14, bug #52361 (project octave):

I can confirm the behavior (tested on Win 8.1) with the following
observations:

* Shortcut Ctrl-V does not work in terminal and editor
* Context-menu for paste in terminal works
* Context-menu and Menu for paste in editor (and Main-Window)  does not work
(menu entry disabled)
* Context-menu for copy in Terminal and editor works
* Ctrl-X works in editor
