Details:

Running on Windows 7 ultimate x-64 with latest Microsoft updates.

I use File -> Open menu to try to get to a file.

I select my D drive, then select my folder Downloads. At this point I want to
drill down another level to a folder that contains the files.

Instead the open file dialog hangs indefinitely.
