Follow-up Comment #14, bug #52681 (project octave):
I like that the change is so small, but I'm concerned that we don't fully
understand all of its effects. I'd like to commit the patch, but I'm
wondering whether it should go on the development branch rather than the
stable branch so there could be more testing.
